Ormoc Port: view from the Plaza

Ormoc Superdome is center of socio-cultural and sports activities in the city. Constructed during the term of former Mayor Dodong Codilla, now congressman of Leyte's 4th district.
The old city hall, will become a museum once the new city hall in government center, Cogon will be completed before the end of 2009. Ormoc Historical Society convenor Emil Justimbaste sees the proposed museum as a good place for memorabilla and other relics that is part of the city's past and colorful history.
St. Peter & Paul Church in Ormoc City could be one of the oldest church in western Leyte if it was not reduced to rubble during the Spanish era. Erected as a parish in 1850, when it was declared by the Governor General separating Ormoc from its mother parish in Palompon. Now only a portion of the wall of the church remains the remnant of the old church here.
